Every two years, countries around the world look forward to the Summer and Winter Olympic Games. As lead agency, we needed to leverage P&G’s Olympic sponsorship and the excitement surrounding the 2016 Summer Olympics to create a campaign that would get shoppers to purchase P&G products in multiple regional stores.

An Eye Opening Experience
Give consumers the ability to Ride into the Rio 2016 Olympic Games through Virtual Reality (VR) 360 video content. The VR experience featured US Olympic athletes Brooke Crain, Casey Eichfeld and Lea Davidson and made consumers feel like they were in the Olympic sport. The custom videos were shot through the eyes of the athletes as they competed in their sport—BMX riding, canoe slalom and mountain biking, respectively, and were available to consumers through a P&G shopper promotion at 11 retailers nationwide.
