Job Summary 

The Associate Director, Integrated Media Activation (Paid Social) is a full-time role that reports to the VP of Integrated Media. They will work with other internal teams to plan, develop, execute, and report on paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and other emerging self-serve, biddable media platforms. They’re also responsible for collaborating with a team of paid social managers, specialists, and associates who work with media planning leads, creative strategists, and other members of the organization. This person provides platform updates, communicates with platform reps and provides the larger paid social POV of the agency.

  • Demonstrate the mission, vision, values, and culture principles of Continuum Clinical. 
  • Lead the development and execution framework of innovative paid social media plans across the group and our clients
  • Collaborate in developing cross-discipline approaches and drive synergy with Paid Search, Programmatic, Display, Content, and Influencer
  • Design comprehensive media and strategic frameworks that address client objectives and challenges
  • Develop strong client relationships and build trusted partnerships
  • As the team grows, develop, train and manage paid social team, including Paid Social Managers, Specialists, and Associates
  • Recommend innovative strategic and media tactics consistent with media and content briefing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, etc
  • Demonstrate ability to present strategies/plans/pitches to all level of clients
  • Proactively seek out media opportunities and/or industry news to develop sharp and up-to-date approach to media planning, and disseminate across the team
  • Work together with management to identify and grow incremental business opportunities
  • Develop thought-leadership and deliver written/verbal POVs to clients and partners
  • Enlarge the opportunities of paid social by exploring new test and learn opportunities
  • Assist in business development opportunities as needed

Industry Knowledge

  • Demonstrate current and relevant expert knowledge of social and biddable media trends and innovations through one-on-one meetings, conferences, and trade publications
  • Ability to educate and influence stakeholders on above trends and best practices

Continuum Clinical Leadership 

  • Share Continuum Clinical knowledge and success stories actively across the agency
  • Train, mentor, and develop cross-department leaders on the role of paid social and biddable media
  • Comply with all corporate and departmental standard operating procedures 
  • Ensure all activities and operations are performed in compliance with federal regulations
  • Responsible for maintaining current and accurate weekly time tracking, per the Agency’s time tracking policy
  • Ensure direct reports maintain current and accurate weekly time tracking, per the Agency’s time tracking policy 
  • Must travel occasionally overnight and on weekends

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred
  • Experience: 3-5 years’ experience managing paid social campaigns
  • Additional Experience: Experience managing at least 5MM+ in Paid Social Campaigns 
  • Certifications: Facebook Blueprint Planner and Buyer certification preferred
  • Experience working with agency media and planning departments
